iPhone Printing Problem from Wireless HP, Canon, Brother Printer after Update to iOS 11 Showing Printer Connecting Message

iPhone has recently launched update in iOS to iOS 11, iOS 11.0.1, 11.0.2, 11.0.3 and most of the iPhone users of iPhone 6, iPhone 6s plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7, 7 Plus and iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are upgrading their operating system to the latest. Most common problem people are facing after upgrade is that they are unable to print from their iPhone using WiFi to HP, Cannon, Brother and some other printers. For most of the users Air-print was working fine with previous iOS version but after upgrade to iOS 11 while giving print command everything works fine like finding printer, after clicking print it shows message "Printer Connecting" and failed to print.

There are many bugs with the new iPhone operating system iOS 11 and apple has not come up with any solution or fix for these bugs. However we have found  some hecks to do away with this problem and let your iPhone print without any problem.
Here are some solutions you can try:

Solution 1: For users of HP printer like HP envy 5640, HP Deskjet 3630, HP GT 5820 and other HP wireless printers, you can download HP Smart App from here. You will be able to print  any document on your Apple iPhone from this app without any problem.

Solution 2: In most of the wireless printers generally IPV6 and IPV4 are enabled by default and iOS 11 is having problem connecting with IPV6 and works fine with IPV4. So you need to disable IPV6 and keep IPV4 enabled. Now try printing. If problem still persists you can restart your printer and iPhone too and try printing to see if problem is resolved.

How to enable only IPv4:-
  • Find IP Address of your printer.
  • Enter IP address on your browser.
  • Go to Settings-> Network-> General tab-> Network Protocol-> IP4 only.

Solution 3: If still you are not able to print just "Forgot" network on your iPhone and connect again. Must keep just IPV4 enabled and IPV6 disabled.

Solution 4: By now hopefully problem of  most of the users must be resolved. If not, you can contact your Printer service provider or Apple customer care to help you get fix and let you print from your iPhone.

If your problem is resolved you can comment below to know every one and also share how you have fixed this problem.
