How to Use Portrait Mode on iPhone 8 or iPhone 7

Apple has come up with special feature in camera of iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. Its portrait mode, which makes picture of person highlighted and background blur. This feature is not available in iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. Here are some tricks how you can use portrait mode on iPhone 8 and iPhone 7.

Many users are wondering is it possible to get portrait mode on iPhone 7 or iPhone 8 phones.

First thing you must know "what is portrait mode". In portrait mode an object or in case of selfies your face is highlighted and background is blurred or blacked.

Now you must know how portrait mode is achieved in different phones.

Apple uses duel lenses of cameras on iPhone to introduce portrait mode in Plus models of iPhone. It uses one lens to capture the image and other lens to determine light and distance of the object to highlight it and blurr other background objects.

This feature was earlier introduced by Samsung Note 8 and Google pixel. They relies on software to achieve portrait mode. As iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 has single lens cameras like Samsung and Google pixel we can achieve portrait mode only by software or app.

One of the famous app to apply portrait mode on your iPhone is FabFocus.

You can download Fabfocus from itunes or follow link: Download Fabfocus.
